Canada Passenger plane crashes in Canada, casualties confirmed

A passenger plane in Canada crashed shortly after take-off, killing 6 people.

According to a foreign news agency report, Canada’s Joint Rescue Coordination Center said the small single-engine plane took off from Fort Smith but lost contact with the control tower shortly after takeoff.

On which rescue teams were sent for rescue operations and mass casualty protocols were activated at the town hospital.

The rescue team found 6 bodies from the wreckage of the plane while one person was rescued alive who had jumped from the plane before the crash and was seriously injured when he fell to the ground. The aircraft wreckage was found one kilometer away.

The plane that crashed was a chartered plane carrying miners to a coal mine. All flights out of Fort Smith were grounded until Wednesday after the crash.

An inquiry committee was formed to investigate the plane crash.
